Peter Tompkins

Peter is a founding Director of EDGE architecture and Tompkins Rygole Architecture. He graduated from Kingston-Upon-Thames University in 2000 with a BA(Hons) degree and then again in 2004 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture, subsequently gaining his RIBA part III accreditation. Peter has also gained a post-graduate qualification in Social Sciences and this discipline continues to inform his approach to design. Before founding EDGE Architecture he gained experience working in a number of architectural practices, in and around Berkshire, as well as in London and Belgium. Peter has a keen interest in the challenges of sustainable development and is a qualified and BRE accredited ‘Ecohomes’ and ‘Code For Sustainable Homes’ assessor.
