Paper Cup Challenge

Annelies will be helping with the Paper Cup Challenge organised by RIBA Berkshire. A free hands-on architecture and design workshop for children aged 8–11 years. There are only a couple of spaces left for this Saturday 14th March 2015!

What it is about

  • Children explore the built environment through:

    • Pattern

    • Structure

    • Reuse and up-cycling of everyday objects

  • The workshop focuses on creative design using paper cups and other simple materials.

Special guest

  • Introduced by Frankie Kubicki MA, author of Let Paper Do It, Re-addressing the Disposable: A History of the Paper Cup, 1865–1940.

Attendance

  • Designed for children aged 8–11.

  • One adult per family is required to attend.

  • Places are limited.

Cost

  • Free of charge, supported by RIBA Berkshire.
