Planning permission was secured for a sensitively designed residential development of four new homes at Newtown Court Farm, set within a semi-rural edge-of-settlement location outside the defined settlement boundary. The scheme required a carefully considered planning strategy, demonstrating compliance with local policy relating to previously developed land, landscape character and sustainable development principles.

Working closely with a specialist consultant team including arboriculturalists, drainage engineers, ecologists and highways engineers, the proposals were developed to respond positively to the site’s rural context whilst respecting existing trees, ecology and neighbouring properties.

Following the successful planning approval, detailed technical and construction information was prepared, and the project was subsequently delivered on site. We produced the full working drawing package and project managed three of the four houses through to completion, overseeing the delivery of high-quality contemporary homes that integrate successfully within their countryside setting.
