Listed Town Centre Housing Regeneration - London
LOCATION UXBRIDGE LONDON
PROJECT TYPE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
CLIENT PROPERTY DEVELOPER
Planning permission and Listed Building Consent were successfully secured for the redevelopment of a redundant town-centre brownfield site to the rear of Grade II listed buildings on Uxbridge High Street. The scheme delivers five new homes through the sensitive regeneration of underused land, including a new access, landscaping and associated works. Edge Architecture led the multidisciplinary consultant team throughout the planning process, coordinating Knight Frank LLP (Planning Consultant), P G Land Surveys (Topographical and Land Surveyor), Archibald Shaw Ltd (Structural Engineers), Jessop & Cook Architects (CDM Consultants), Environmental Noise Solutions Limited (Noise Consultants), Dr Peter Wardle (Historic Buildings Consultant), Thames Valley Archaeological Services Ltd (Archaeologists), and Southern Energy Consultants & Blue Burton Partnership (BREEAM Consultants). Following consent, we assisted the client in discharging planning conditions relating to materials, landscaping and boundary treatments before preparing a comprehensive Building Regulations and technical drawing package to enable construction.
