Located in the village of Bradfield, Berkshire, this project involved the comprehensive renovation, extension and remodelling of a Victorian house for a small-scale property developer. The original property was dated and fragmented in appearance, with a number of unsympathetic additions detracting from its architectural character.

Our design approach sought to enhance and celebrate the building’s Victorian heritage while creating a more practical and attractive family home. Works included a new oak-framed entrance porch, a side extension, replacement windows and doors, roof alterations, and a complete external refurbishment. Careful attention was given to materials and detailing, with handmade-style brickwork, clay roof tiles and traditional proportions helping to create a cohesive and timeless appearance.

The transformation significantly improved the property's kerb appeal, functionality and market value, delivering a high-quality family home that feels both authentic to its origins and suited to contemporary living.
